Site making great strides in rankings

Thanks to your patronage, this site has been making huge strides in its ranking on the internet. The ranking is maintained on http://news.netcraft.com.

Site Rankings.

I wasn't even aware that there was something called as site rankings out there apart from some word to mouth. I came to know this when I read the report that the number of websites has recently crossed the hundred million mark (Reference from Slashdot.org). Just out of curiosity I looked around the website and searched for my domain and saw that my ranking was 3477462. I don't have anything to substantiate this as I did not think of it much at that time (not that I do now) so I did not take a screen-shot.

Given the terrific traffic to my website in the past few days (it went down twice since yesterday due to huge volume of traffic) and your kind patronage, the ranking has jumped up to 2814481. This is a huge jump for me and this time I took a screen-shot just of records purpose and that what the picture here shows. A ranking of 2.8 million odd out of more than 102 million domain names and more than 50 million active websites is not bad. I don't have the content, resources (money or people, it's a one man show so far) to advertise, publish content or design a better site like the top sites have.

I hope to continue rising up in the site rankings by putting up some good quality content here. I also hope to improve the site design a bit to ease navigation and improve browsing experience. Any suggestions, feedback would be greatly appreciated.
