57 THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW

Most of these "facts" I have collected over a period of time through emails from my friends. It really is a good pastime and something to read when you have nothing better to do or are feeling down and out.

1. The word "queue" is the only word in the English language that is still pronounced the same way when the last four letters are removed.
2. Beetles taste like apples, wasps like pine nuts, and worms  like fried bacon.
3. Of all the words in the English language, the word 'set' has the most definitions!
4. What is called a "French kiss" in the English speaking world is known as an "English kiss" in France.

54. If you were to spell out numbers, how far would you have to go until you would find the letter "A"? One thousand.   Note : One Hundred "And" One etc. cannot be included because 'AND' is not a number.
