Hi Luciano,

You might want to check the ports that you have used on the Advanced tab, and make sure you enter your entire gmail email address (john.doe@gmail.com) in the Login Name field for the SMTP account. Also, to successfully send mail, try editing your current location document and in the Mail tab set "Send outgoing mail" to "directly to Internet". At the same time, dont forget to look at your certificates in security section. i had to accept all of them to be able to send and recieve gmail. you may want to check that out as well.
