Editing my site in SafariEditing my site in Firefox

This is not a final product and not a final statement. In its current incarnation, there is no way I will use Safari as my primary browser. Look at the images above. Although not very clear, both are the edit pages of the same blog posting from my own site. That the editing is very poor in Safari is more than apparent. I will have to do an HTML level editing for all my posts if I have to use Safari. And my website is not using some esoteric products. It is based on standard and very popular Zope+Plone combination.

Regardless how good it looks or how fast it is, if I can't post on my website easily I will not use it. And this is not the only issue. I have read in news that Safari downloads have crossed 3 million. I have downloaded three of those and the success rate of the installation is about 33%. It is running smoothly only on one of my computers. On my work computer on which I use Windows, I cannot customize it. I want to include the button for Home, or I want to add a shortcut link on the Links bar so that I am able to browse and navigate easily. Whenever I try to do it, Safari crashes. I am using Windows XP SP2.

I have tried uninstalling Safari, cleanup of registry and all other tricks that I know, but on those computers it simply crashes. Safari is still in Beta testing phase so I expect most of the issues will get sorted out by the time the final product is released. But I think these are some of the basic things that should have been taken care of instead of focusing only on features and eye-candy.
